Today wasn't as bad as yesterday. Maybe it was knowing I only had a half day in the office or maybe it was something else. I don't know. Today was a rest day from the gym, although a part of me really wanted to go do weights but I wasn't getting off work until 7 pm and I didn't want to be out that late. So here I am, relaxing instead.
Today's meals:
Meal 1: picante fritatta with 1 slice whole grain toast
Meal 2: 2 egg whites and 1 banana
Meal 3: 1 can albacore tuna in water (drained) mixed with yogurt cheese and celery on 2 slices of whole grain toast with spinach
Meal 4: cottage cheese with 1 kiwi and 1 mango
Meal 5: 1 turkey cutlet with 5 spice cooked in a grill pan brushed with olive oil. Cooked a side of veggie fried rice with it (olive oil, onion, carrots, mushrooms, broccoli, 1 egg, oyster sauce, soy sauce, green onions and brown rice)
Meal 6: smoothie made with 2 bananas, 1 1/2 cups skim milk, 1 scoop protein powder, 1 T almond butter and 1 cup ice (it was a banana kind of day)
