Day 15 and 16 EC start week 3

So weighed myself the morning of the 15th day.  I didn't weigh at the same time, but my weight was 237.8 - so that's a total loss of 7.8 lbs.  So we are moving in the right direction.   The first day of week 5 I will take my measurements besides weight.  I also think I'd be losing more if I were exercising more regularly - my exercise has seemingly gotten hampered and I need to balance it back out.

Day 15 - I had deemed this would be my cheat day, meaning dinner and my last meal would be treats out - but well the rest of the day was not my strongest.

Meal 1: 1 banana, clean granola (1/2 cup) and skim milk

Meal 2: hummus and whole wheat pita

Meal 3: fiber Plus antioxident chocolate chip bar and more hummus and whole wheat pita

Meal 4: mozarella and asparagus tempura w/ wasabi dipping sauce and 1 sushi roll.  (at this point my stomach was arguing with me - very gassy)

Meal 5: orange and tart frozen yogurt with these orange burst things.

No meal 6 - I need to rethink my cheat days and I need to get on a better eating schedule outside of dinner and dessert on these days.   Otherwise my stomach just didn't feel right.   I also don't think the fried foods really do well so perhaps, as good as it tastes, I will have to avoid the tempura.

Day 16:

meal 1: sweet potato oat bar and a glass of skim milk w/ 1 T hershey's and 1 instant hazelnut coffee pack

Meal 2: yogurt and 1 tsp honey and blackberries

Meal 3: grilled flank steak that was marinated, wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla w/ homemade salsa, red cabbage and chipolte crema (made w/yogurt cheese, lime and chipolte)

Meal 4: salsa w/ chips (whole wheat tortilla baked) and 1 peach

Meal 5: green beans w/ oil and vinegar, baked sweet potato fries, baked chicken nuggets (crusted in a mixture of wheat germ, oat bran, flax and ground almonds) and honey mustard (1.5 tsp honey w/ 1 T dijon)

Meal 6: frozen chocolate banana

I do have to say that I really am enjoying the foods for the most part.  The only issue I've had is oatmeal - I don't do mushy in the mornings, and well, unless its steel cut, oatmeal is mushy and thick and in all honesty has very little flavor if you don't add a bunch of goodies to it.   Wall paper paste is about as well as I can describe it.  I like steel cut oats but rolled oats - blah.   I need to find a way to cook those better, but I do want to try a crock pot steel cut oats recipe to see how it works and comes out.
