I took this weekend to recharge. I hit a lump in the road. It happens. Something happens where I have a rough day and it turns into a rough week and then 2 rough weeks and so on and so forth. But I am stopping the cycle today and prevent it from being a rough month. I don't honestly know what the lump was - work stress, money stress, bad eating day, dentist - it just all equates into easy excuses to eat poorly and to not work out. And well it shows - weight today was 243.8. My doctor is so not going to be happy with my weight gain between last year and this year. A part of me wants to ask her for something to help - to give me a boost. I know I don't want drastic measures but I know there are things that can help until you can start seeing more results. I'll have to talk to her.
Today was not the greatest food day, but its better than its been.
Breakfast:
Grits with 1/2 T butter and salt.
20 ounce coke
Lunch: 1 bowl of raisin bran crunch with 1% milk
Snack: 100 calorie bag of popcorn. Then a bit later I had caramel delight girl scout cookies and later I had a lemon pudding with raspberries (homemade pudding)
Dinner: 1/2 of a turkey tenderloin (I get these at sams - they're wrapped in bacon and you can cook them anyway you want. This was my first time having it. It wasnt bad at all) 1 cup mashed potatoes (made with butter and evaporated milk) and 2 slices jellied cranberry
Dessert: lemon pudding with raspberries and before bed I had a cup of hot chocolate.
I didn't move today - worked from home mainly. Tomorrow I am going to start my work walking and weights and I"m also gonna hit the gym. Gym dates this week are going to be Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday. Next week I start my pilates class - exciting!!
Anyways, here's to rebooting. I will take measurements and pictures on friday.
