I'm up way too late, and am not sure that I can really do too much tonight.
Last night time got away from me. Got home and started doing things online and next thing I know it's way later than planned and my eyes were no longer wanting to stay open, but I was determined to post something. Anyways, yesterday was a good day, class went well - first food lab cooking. We had a few experiments - measuring flour in different ways to see how it affects the weight, watching water characteristics at different temperatures and baking brownies using conventional oven, convection oven and microwave and comparing the differences. Oh and cutting practice - I had to help my lab partner, the big chef knife made her a wee bit nervous.
Again, exercise was not at the forefront. I have a hard time finding balance with working out when my schedule gets hectic. I have to learn that exercise needs to come first for me - after school of course, but I need to not put it off to last.
Food:
Breakfast - Panera cranberry orange muffin toasted with earth balance spread
Snack: 3 small brownies - this is from my Food Prep lab - and yes, we have to eat b/c we had to compare the cooking methods and how it affected taste and texture.
Lunch: 2 slices stone ground whole wheat toast with 2 eggs scrambled in the microwave (2 eggs, 1 T 1%milk, 1/2 T butter and 1T parm) the toast had about 1 T mayo spread on it
Dinner: Five Spice Chinese restaurant - Red Ruby martini, 1/2 an order of spring rolls and 1/2 an order or sweet and sour chicken with added heat
Dessert: small butter pecan concrete from Andy's custard
