Day 12

Today was a good day.  It wasn't fantastic or anything, but I was home and a few things got done - though I've yet more to do.

I worked a bit this morning but worked from home - just about 3 hours so nothing major.   Not too much to talk about today.  Reading Food and Culture.  Our first test is due next Friday - it's an online test.  Not stressed, but want to do the reading.  As interesting as the class is, the text book has to be the dullest, most drawn out thing ever.  It's just blah and difficult to read.

Food:
Breakfast: 1 cup frosted flakes and 1 cup 1% milk.  I was tired this morning, the idea of pancakes went out the window.
Lunch: 1/2 of subway spicy italian sub on wheat bread.  This was left over from yesterday's lunch - I just toasted it in the oven and dang, it was yummy.  Followed it with a salted caramel.
Dinner: I decided to eat at my favorite restaurant tonight - Touch - they have a 3 course meal for between 16$ - 25$ depending on what main dish you order.  It's a nice atmosphere, awesome food and great service for a really good deal.   Anyways, tonight I got the 3 courses as follows: appetizer - 2 dates (these are bacon wrapped dates with goat cheese and a little balsamic vinegar); main meal - nut crusted sea bass with some kind of onions on top and served with lobster risotto; dessert - flourless chocolate cake with a scoop of vanilla custard and raspberry sauce.   I had an amaretto sour with dinner and coffee with 2 sugars and half and half with dessert.  Also had 2 muffins they brought out - one was a jalapeno corn muffin and the other was pb and jelly.
To drink today I had unsweetened tea mixed with 100% no sugar added cranberry juice (probably equivalent to about a cup of juice)

Exercise:
Housework - working on thorough cleaning of kitchen including reorganizing cabinets
Treadmill for 30 minutes.  The incline ranged from between a 3 to a 4.
I bought a treadmill last year around this time and used it from time to time, but hopefully after today it'll get more use than the last few months.
