Day 5

It was Saturday - generally Saturday's are a good day.  Even when I have to work Saturday's are a good day because I can work from home!  The first half of my morning between work and not having much energy was done pretty much from a sitting position with a computer and the critters.  It's really too cold to want to go out and do much of anything, but I did hit the store - some new recipes I want to try and I'm doing some housework.  I also watched 3 episodes of You Are What You Eat - I need to get back to the occasional fresh juice and smoothie and 3 episodes of Dr. Oz.  Dr. Oz had an interesting recipe I may have to try at some point - a woman who's lost the weight with WW and kept it off for 4 years (I think it was 4) had a brownie recipe that was 170 calories a brownie - and the secret ingredient was black beans.  I'm curious - I know the chocolate cake made with pumpkin, but this one's new to me.

Food:
Breakfast - 1 glass of 100% grape juice.  (i know i should have had more than this, but by the time I woke up and motivated myself to leave the warm bed for more than grape juice, it was close to lunch so I just said eh.)
Lunch - steak quesadilla - 2 small flour tortillas sprayed with olive oil and sprinkled with cumin.  They were topped with half of cooked steak (left over from earlier this week) and some monteray jack cheese, about 2 T.  Baked this at 350 for a bit and when done, took it out and topped with 2 T of sour cream mixed with hot sauce and green chili salsa.
Snack - 2 lightly salted rice cakes with 2 T nutella and a banana.
Dinner - mandarin chicken salad from Wendy's and a diet coke.
Dessert - a mini 3 musketeers mint with dark chocolate.
(I may make myself a drink tonight, if I do I will update blog at that time.)

Exercise - housework - laundry.  I also did a workout I recorded off of TV.  I came across this workout while looking for another program I was going to record.  It's called Bollywood Dance Workout and I wanted to see what it was.  Due to commercials its about a 2 minute workout, but it was fun.  They do sell the workouts on DVD which I might consider at a later date.   Here's a link to Amazon's site for one of the videos: Bollywood Dance Workout DVD
