This morning was rough. It was definitely a Monday. It was so bad, I left work early and decided I'd make up the time later. (just an hour)
So I left work early and went to the gym - wanted to try the new workout - oh my did it kick me in the rear hard. I was suppossed to do 3 sets of 10 on most - I was lucky to make it through 2 sets of 10. Usually, on the old workout, it was like a cool down after my 30 minute walk. this was nothing of the sort. I was dripping sweat. I leaned over to pick up some weights for one exercise and a big drop of sweat went plop. It wiped me out. I think I need to get some whole grain cereal bars or granola bars so that I can eat one on the way to the gym to give me a energy boost before the workout. I was waning in the energy field.
Food was okay today, not perfect or anywhere near perfect really:
Breakfast - 2 chocolate chip muffins - regular size, made at home from a mix. They were about 5 bite muffins nothing ginormaous.
Lunch - pork ramen and a banana (again, sodium content is horrid but I'm living cheaply this week = at least I was before I sold back my books - yay text book cash)
Snack - 100 calorie bag of popcorn and a peppermint
After the workout and before my voice lesson - get up and goji smoothie from tropical smoothie.
Dinner - 6 inch spicy italian sub with provolone, lettuce, tomato, onion, bell pepper, olives and spicy mustard
Dessert - 3 oreo mint crisp things - like thin mints. (it was the last of them, they are gone and will not return)
Late night - cereal and milk (I've not yet decided on the cereal)
Anyways, its more than I wanted to eat today and I could probably avoid the cereal but I want the milk and it can settle you to help you sleep. (or so I've heard)
My weight at the gym, taken after my workout, was 245.0 exactly. I forgot to get a picture and i may wait til Thursday for that - I have a fancy dinner that night. More about that on Thursday.
